With a 5/16-inch hex tip, the 6-inch hollow shank is exceptionally strong and made of carefully heat-treated and tempered steel for wrench-assisted turning. Individually tested to exceed standards, this driver is insulated in two layers for protection against electric shock. The shaft has internal flanges that provide an extra-strong, torque-proof anchor in the handle and will not bond or twist in normal use. The Cushion-Grip handle is yellow color coded and resists slippage which allows you to apply greater torque. The patented Tip-Indent quickly identifies the type of screwdriver and screwdriver tip orientation. With a standard length for most applications, this nut driver fits over long bolts and studs.
